Update journal

Small improvements, day by day. Follow the changes to Lodestar since v0.1.0 opened on September 19, 2026.

Entries are dated by the day we worked on them, in Korean time.

  1. Latest

    Our address is now hamzzi.com

    • The primary address is now hamzzi.com. Previous website links lead to the new address, and the magazine remains at blog.lodestarastro.com. Your account, profiles, readings and Stars stay in the same account.
    • Where possible, we automatically carry over this browser’s sign-in, limited Hamzzi room progress and decoration, and measurement refusals. If sign-in cannot be carried over, use the same sign-in method as before. The privacy policy explains how to clear browser data at each address.
  2. A Hamzzi for each profile, with easier room controls and chart labels

    • On the Korean site, you can now raise the day-pillar Hamzzi for each birth profile in Hamzzi’s Little Room. Progress and decoration are saved separately for each account and profile in this browser, and the primary profile inherits the default Hamzzi’s progress once. Fixed the room staying on a loading screen when the account check failed; you can play with the default Hamzzi and retry the check.
    • In the Korean Hamzzi room, fixed old timers ending a new hide-and-seek game after you cancelled the previous one. Improved hiding spots that furniture covered and touch areas on small screens. On tablets and PCs, placed the room and care buttons side by side and adjusted the layout so the bottom menu does not cover status, game results and buttons in shorter windows.
    • Fixed long English words overflowing narrow cells in the Zi Wei chart. Also refined wrapping for Japanese punctuation at line starts and long names in the central cells.
  3. More detail in Birthday Hamzzi, with room and result fixes

    • Added hide-and-seek to Hamzzi’s Little Room on the Korean site. Tap shelves, curtains, the door and furniture in the room to find Hamzzi within three guesses.
    • Added five paragraphs to Birthday Hamzzi results about personality, close relationships, inner feelings, strengths and ways to rest. You can read more about your own result and results shared with friends in Korean, English and Japanese.
    • Added writing guidance for work, life stage and habits in full Saju reports on the Korean site. These interpretations are framed as possibilities based on age and the calculated chart, with checks for claims that a job is someone’s calling or destiny.
    • In Hamzzi’s Little Room on the Korean site, reduced the initial image downloads and time spent walking and waiting during care activities. You can queue one next action while the room loads or an activity runs, and tap the same button again to cancel it. Fixed vertical swipes on phones making Hamzzi walk or placing an item from the bag instead of scrolling.
    • Fixed Tojeong results hiding text inside a scrollable book page. On phones and larger screens, each result page now grows to fit its text, and turning the page shows the next one from the top. Also fixed long names overlapping neighboring cells in the Zi Wei chart by adjusting wrapping and alignment.
    • Fixed missing completion notices when you left a reading’s waiting screen through the bottom menu, Back control or logo. The site now checks the same request again after you leave that screen and tells you when it is ready.
    • Moved Daily Fortune to the second home card and clarified the sign-in guidance for visitors. The five free cards now use three columns at tablet widths, and card motion plays once before stopping. Added a Get stars link on the home screen and aligned the balance, purchase and history sections on the wider stars page.
  4. Stardust, reading fixes, and easier forms and home cards

    • We added stardust. Each paid reading you open with a bought star adds one grain, and every five grains become one free star. When a friend joins through your invite link and opens their first paid reading with a bought star, including a gifted one, you get one more grain.
    • On the signup consent screen, the “View details” links now sit right under each item instead of floating in the middle.
    • Some Saju, compatibility and wealth readings failed because generation exceeded the time limit. Some complete Saju Chart Reports were also marked as failed because their text fell below a minimum length. We’re sorry you waited without receiving your reading.
    • We removed the minimum length checks for Saju Chart Reports. Shorter, complete readings are no longer rejected just for their length. We still check required sections and calculated facts.
    • We improved automatic retries for temporary generation errors so they continue the same request. We regenerated and saved the failed readings we confirmed, using their original inputs.
    • Expanded the supported Gregorian birth years to 1583 through 3000 in Birthday Hamzzi, Work Hamzzi, IljuTI and Manse. Lunar date conversion keeps its existing supported range.
    • Fixed cramped time fields and clipped solar-term labels in Manse. Made input borders and keyboard focus easier to see, and improved faint text in Hamzzi’s room and item bag.
    • Fixed home free-test cards getting hidden behind the bottom menu on laptops. On small screens, using the arrow keys while a card is focused now moves focus with the card. Browser Back shortcuts remain available. We also reduced the size of the images and shared stylesheet loaded initially.
    • Added links from IljuTI results to love and compatibility readings. Red dots on the profile button and menu mark unread updates; opening the journal marks them as read in the same browser.
  5. Saju-based Korean readings and cleaner result screens

    • Switched new readings on the Korean site to Saju for personal traits, daily fortune, love, study and work, wealth, compatibility and the 2027 yearly reading. Updated their guidance and result charts to match.
    • New Korean readings omit the hour pillar when birth time is unknown and explain the reference city used when birthplace is missing. Older readings keep their original interpretation method. Retrying an existing request also preserves its original method and pass reservation.
    • Fixed a large outline appearing around the entire reading when results open or you jump from the contents. Kept automatic focus on the text and keyboard focus outlines on buttons and links, checking all three languages at several screen sizes.
  6. IljuTI, more Manse languages, and smoother forms and sharing

    • Added IljuTI, a free love-style reading that combines your day pillar with an optional, self-selected MBTI type. Results read like a cozy letter, and you can leave MBTI blank.
    • Added English and Japanese to the Hamzzi Four Pillars (Manse) calculator, with charts, explanations and links from each language’s home page. Also fixed duplicate profiles caused by different language labels for the same birth city.
    • Gave Birthday Hamzzi, Work Hamzzi and IljuTI separate input and result pages. Work Hamzzi and IljuTI keep a floating Share button; Birthday Hamzzi now has one main Share button with more methods in an expandable section.
    • Made profile fields visible from the start, including when you select a saved profile. Birth time can be exact, approximate or unknown; choosing unknown clears the time you entered earlier.
    • Added archive and update journal links to the profile menu. Removed separate language menus inside content while keeping the existing Korean, English and Japanese pages.
    • Aligned home card heights and spacing on phones and larger screens. Restored navigation that disappeared on tablet and desktop detail pages, with enough space to keep it clear of bottom action buttons.
    • Fixed an error that prevented shared readings from opening. The first button now takes you to the reading itself, and you can copy its link directly.
    • Fixed return links that switched Korean Naver signup and profile setup into English. Added a way to sign in with another account and retry a failed profile lookup instead of being sent to create a new profile.
    • Fixed login and reading requests failing to start in some older browsers after reproducing an environment without the required browser features. Also made Apple and X sign-in text readable on dark buttons in in-app browsers.
  7. Free Korean Manse chart added, with helpful definitions

    • Added a free Manse chart in Korean that also works with saved birth profiles.
    • Added definitions you can open by tapping underlined terms in your results.
    • Fixed Korean Manse results failing to open when the browser blocks temporary storage. Recreated that restriction and checked the path from calculation to result.
  8. Fixing missing pass labels and unclear wording

    • Fixed home cards hiding the pass requirement when you already had a saved reading. The cost of starting a new reading now stays visible.
    • Reworded Korean product descriptions, input guidance and result screens for clarity.
  9. Readings without a known birth time

    • Made Saju, Vedic astrology and wealth readings available without a known birth time or place, with explanations of any assumptions and omitted calculations.
    • Fixed a sign-in prompt briefly appearing for signed-in members and shifting My page. The menu now stays in place while the account is checked.
  10. Work Hamzzi in three languages

    • Added English and Japanese to the Work Hamzzi test, with links from each language’s home page.
    • Fixed birth-month labels being clipped on small phones. Checked date inputs in all three languages from 320px to larger screens.
  11. Work Hamzzi added in Korean

    • Added the Korean Work Hamzzi test to explore how you work and relate to colleagues through your day pillar.
    • Opened reading sections by default so you can read the full result without expanding them one by one.
  12. Keeping results and improving image saving

    • Added English and Japanese to Birthday Hamzzi, the day-pillar test.
    • Kept day-pillar test results available through signup and profile saving.
    • Improved image saving for day-pillar results. If the file-saving dialog fails, the page tries a download and offers press-and-hold instructions.
  13. Birthday Hamzzi added in Korean

    • Added Birthday Hamzzi in Korean. Use your birthday to find your day-pillar character among 60 Hamzzis, without signing in.
    • Added lunar birthday input with conversion to a Gregorian date for saved profiles.
    • Prevented a second pass being reserved when you returned to a reading still being written. Returning now follows the existing request and lets you open it when ready.
  14. Find saved readings more easily

    • Collected saved results in the archive with filters by reading type.
    • Tailored progress messages to each reading so you know what is being prepared.
    • Fixed the archive failing to load while handling older Tojeong records. Saved results with an identified profile remain visible.
  15. Six new readings added

    • Added Saju readings with a Four Pillars chart, the five elements and a written look at your personal patterns.
    • Added Zi Wei Dou Shu to explore areas of life through its twelve palaces.
    • Added Vedic astrology readings.
    • Added wealth readings about how you earn, share and value your work.
    • Added the Tojeong year book, with pages for the year and its twelve lunar months.
    • Added I Ching readings: bring a question, toss the coins and read the resulting hexagram.
  16. Easier rereading and profile editing

    • Put saved reading results first when you open the archive.
    • Moved profile editing to its own page and simplified profile selection controls.
  17. Naver login and faster profile loading

    • Enabled Naver sign-in for the Korean service.
    • Improved how profile and account information loads to reduce waiting when reopening screens.
  18. Welcoming Korean readers

    • Added Korean pages and reading screens.
    • Organized new profile setup into three focused steps.
  19. Daily fortunes and 2027 readings added

    • Added daily fortunes for your selected profile, saved by date so you can revisit them.
    • Added 2027 readings with a month-by-month look at the year.
  20. v0.1.0Our first day

    • Opened the Lodestar web service with birth-chart and compatibility readings.
    • Added Love readings about your relationship style and recurring patterns.
    • Added Study & Work readings about how you learn and work, alongside the current year’s themes.
    • Added links for sharing completed readings so recipients can read the result.
